AFTER 23 YEARS, THE NBA IS BACK ON NBC!

We ideated and executed the on-air campaign for the first NBA game on NBC since 2002, delivering the most watched Tip-Off since 2010, reaching over 17M viewers! And it was NBC’s most simul-streamed event ever outside of the NFL & Olympics.

To spotlight this historic broadcast we created a high-energy hype spot featuring star players and highlight-reel moments from the four Tip-Off teams, cut to Cook Classics’ syncopated track “The Real Thing.”

The campaign launched across NBC’s College Football and Sunday Night Football broadcasts and will ran through the October 21 Tip-Off. Serving as a preview of what’s ahead, this spot sets the stage for our next project: the game-open sequence that will start all Sunday Night Basketball broadcasts on NBC, beginning with the February 1, 2026 premiere.
